How to use the workbook

This is a straightforward, easy-to-use workbook which firstly explains the responsibilities of manager and employee in simple terms.

The employee (the "candidate") must then complete the various questions and tasks in the workbook, and regularly present his/her work to the manager for assessment. The completed workbook can be kept in the workplace and used as evidence when requested, eg by an inspector from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

In the past few years hundreds of health & social care staff have used Impact's Workbook as a simple and effective means of achieving the Common Induction Standards.

Click on the icon to see a demonstration version of the workbook (requires Adobe Reader, freely available from www.adobe.com)

The demonstration version has had the print and copy options disabled, meaning that you can view it on your screen but you cannot print it out. Neither can you copy and paste it into another document. In all other respects it is exactly as you would receive it (separate instructions would also be included).
